We are working with a highly respected Engineering and Building Services consultancy firm who are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor in the South West of England to join their IMS team. This is an internally focused position, reporting into the Risk & Compliance Manager. The position has responsibility for the Health & Safety across the company including all 12 offices, as well as reviewing and improving their internal management systems.

The Role:

  • Responsible for providing advice on all Health & Safety matters across the organisation
  • Engage effectively with SHE Representatives across all the offices
  • Maintain and continually improve the in-house SHE processes and procedures
  • Create and review risk assessments and method statements and support and document incident / accident investigations

    • The Candidate:

  • 4+ years of Health & Safety experience within a Construction or Consultancy environment
  • NEBOSH / NCRQ Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the enthusiasm to grow and continue developing professionally
  • Be commutable to the Bristol office, with willingness to travel to other sites nationally, as and when required
