A charity sector client of mine is looking to appoint into a brand new Senior Health & Safety Officer role. They have an excellent international reputation and significantly positively impact the lives of families.
Your new role
This role is based in Surrey and will support the Health & Safety Manager with ensuring health & safety compliance for the whole organisation as well as audit, inspection, risk management, policies and procedures, analysis of performance and quality standards. Looking after a workforce including volunteers of over 100 people as well as users of the charity, this role will be diverse and involve working closely with multiple stakeholders and services.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced health & safety professional holding either the NEBOSH diploma or certificate (or equivalent), with sound knowledge of legislation and best practice. Additional skills and qualifications in Fire or Food Safety would also be advantageous. My client is looking for someone with good communication skills, who can work well with employees of all levels and can produce excellent reports. You will also need to undergo a DBS.
