Occupational Health and Wellbeing Manager - FTC - 6 month - Flexible Location - £40,000 - £45,000 plus package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Manager to join a national rail/civil engineering company. The role can be based anywhere in the UK but ideally would be based in either the North West or Birmingham, with candidates being happy to work across the UK with support. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of working within health and wellbeing, running company initiatives and monitoring trends across the business. A nursing background would be beneficial but not essential, as long as the individual has worked within a health and safety team and has covered aspects of health and wellbeing in their role. This role will initially be a 6-month fixed term position, but it is likely to be extended or become permanent after this term.

The Role:

  • Act as the focal point for all day-to-day management of occupational health and wellbeing
  • Manage health and wellbeing campaigns across the UK
  • Work with site teams to ensure compliance across wellbeing initiatives
  • Monitor and manage health and wellbeing data to enable continuous improvement
  • Working on mental health, fatigue and muscular initiatives across the business
  • Support the business in the opening of health clinics to support employee health and wellbeing

The Candidate:

  • 2 years+ experience in a role focused on health and wellbeing
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of Grad IOSH membership
  • Working as a registered nurse or within wellbeing would be beneficial but not essential
  • An enthusiastic professional who will bring high levels of energy to everything they do
