An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading facilities management company to recruit a European Health, Safety and Environment Manager. This organisation is a well-known global company and the role will join an established Environment, Health & Safety Team and take a leadership position on European wide contracts. This will be a varied role, in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities for the European Health, Safety and Environment Manager will include:

• Assisting and advising key stakeholders on the implementation of the safety management system and auditing against this
• Working with site managers to create pragmatic solutions and ensuring key priorities from audits are actioned
• Acting as key point of contact with third party organisations, including enforcement agencies
• Continually looking for opportunities to improve performance across health and safety and creating new and innovative ideas to drive performance

The successful European Health, Safety and Environment Manager will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role across health & safety from within the facilities management or property sectors
• Experience operating in extremely fast paced, multi-site environments with the ability to prioritise effectively
• A pragmatic and solutions focused outlook with the ability to spot efficiencies across the organization
• Ideally hold or working towards a NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ 5 /NCRQ Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant membership of IOSH

Experience operating in Continental Europe would be an advantage.
