Health and Safety Advisor

We are working with a Public Sector organisation to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor. This role and is an ideal opportunity for candidates with experience of working in the Public Sector/ Housing/ Education sectors to broaden their experience. Based in Somerset, you will be required to provide both strategic and operational advice to members of staff at all levels.

The Role:

• Ensure Health and Safety compliance across the estate
• Review and update policy and procedure
• Deliver a range of training including H&S, Fire Safety and inductions
• Conduct risk assessments and accident investigations when required

The Candidate:

• NEBOSH/ NCRQ Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a Health and Safety role, ideally within Public Sector/ Housing/ Education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels
