The Haynes Group is looking for a:

Health, Safety & Environmental Officer

To enable The Group to further develop expertise in the management of Health, Safety & Environment across its’ sites in Kent and Sussex, an opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety & Environmental Officer who can provide leadership and direction, as well as being able to source/provide practical support to all of the staff at Haynes.

Reporting to the Directors of The Group, you will provide the professional expertise required to help the Company not only maintain and develop its’ Health, Safety & Environmental management across the car, truck and agricultural machinery businesses but also work towards ensuring all aspects of the business meets the professional Health & Safety criteria.   

The successful candidate will have professional qualifications and will have preferably worked in a similar environment.  Good communication skills plus a ‘hands-on’ approach are essential, attention to detail essential as well as an aptitude to coach and train. Must be confident and competent to deal with challenges and problem solving whilst being flexible, engaging and adaptable.  Experience in Health & Safety Guidelines and Legislation.  Full driving licence necessary.
